Over time, a network of around 15 kilometres of paths developed, together with historic buildings and special areas such as the Rosengarten (rose garden), the Englische Kirche (English Church), the Maurischer Pavillon (Moorish Pavilion), the Schwanensee (Swan Lake) and the Königliches Kurtheater (Royal Spa Theatre).
