The thermal water pools at the “Palais Thermal” can generally be used with or without swimwear. With 12 thermal water pools, a year-round heated outdoor pool, 7 saunas, 1 steam bath and hourly sauna infusions – a wellness experience unlike any other in the Black Forest awaits you.
“Badhotel” or “Rossini” – which building suits you?
One hotel complex, two distinct characters: Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA consists of two buildings facing each other directly on the Kurplatz – the “Badhotel” and the “Rossini” . Both are part of Mokni’s and come with the same included benefits – including admission to the historic “Palais Thermal” . The difference is where you stay and what matters most to you: direct bathrobe access to the thermal spa, or breakfast and reception in your own building.

Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA is a family-run adults-only wellness hotel for guests aged 16 and over in the heart of Bad Wildbad. Alongside admission to the “Palais Thermal”, the “Vital Therme” , our sparkling wine breakfast buffet and the fitness studio are also included in the room rate.
What is the difference between the “Badhotel” and the “Rossini”?
Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA consists of two buildings facing each other, around 40 metres apart.
The “Rossini” houses reception, check-in, check-out and the sparkling wine breakfast buffet. The “Badhotel” offers direct bathrobe access to the “Palais Thermal” and also houses the fitness studio.
The included services are available to guests staying in either building.
Which services and thermal spa admissions are included in the room rate?
Regular room rates include the sparkling wine breakfast buffet, admission to the “Palais Thermal” and the “Vital Therme” , use of the fitness studio, one loan bathrobe, bath towels and Wi-Fi.
On the day of departure, the “Palais Thermal” is included until check-out at 11:00 a.m. Afterwards, you can continue using the thermal spa for €20.00 per person, including the sauna area. You are welcome to use the bathrobe and bath towels from your room again for this purpose. The “Vital Therme” is no longer included on the day of departure.
Individual services may vary depending on the rate or package booked. Your booking confirmation is binding.
Does the “Palais Thermal” have to be used without swimwear?
No. The thermal water pools at the “Palais Thermal” can generally be used either with or without swimwear. The traditional saunas and the Roman steam bath are textile-free.
- On all days except Tuesday, the swimwear sauna can be used either with or without swimwear.
- On Tuesdays, swimwear is compulsory in all indoor thermal water pools and in the swimwear sauna.
- The thermal water outdoor pool can also be used on Tuesdays either with or without swimwear.
- The traditional saunas and the Roman steam bath remain textile-free on Tuesdays as well.
For an entirely swimwear-based alternative – also included in the room rate during your stay – you can use the “Vital Therme” .
Is Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA an adults-only hotel?
Yes. Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA is an adults-only hotel for guests aged 16 and over.
It is designed for guests looking for peace, relaxation and time to recharge – whether as a couple, travelling alone or enjoying a break with friends.
Does the hotel have a restaurant or offer half board?
No. Mokni’s does not offer half board and does not have its own traditional hotel restaurant.
The sparkling wine breakfast buffet is served in the “Rossini” building. For lunch and dinner, you can visit the bistro at the “Palais Thermal” or choose from numerous restaurants, cafés and bars within easy walking distance. Many of them are family-run.
What parking options are available?
Garage parking is available directly at the hotel by prior reservation and subject to availability. You may stop at the Kurplatz for loading and unloading.
Additional public parking options include the P4 “Kurzentrum” car park and the free P6 “Sportplatz” car park.
