Senior Cinema 2026 #03 “Ticket to Life”

The Oberes Enztal Senior Citizens’ Council (e.V.) and the Kino in Wildbad Support Association (e.V.) are jointly relaunching the senior citizens’ movie series after a long hiatus. On four afternoons in 2026, a comedy-style film set in the lives of older adults and addressing topics relevant to them will be shown. Afterward, there will be time to discuss the film, its theme, and its significance for one’s own reality. Brita Näser and Claudia Ollenhauer will moderate the discussion. People recognize him less and less, and he can’t even remember when he wrote his last song. Above all, however, the health problems that come with age are taking their toll on him. He’s already suffered a stroke, which is why he really ought to stop performing on stage. But what is left for someone who has spent his whole life making music? Nothing, at least in his opinion. So the Frenchman has decided to travel to Switzerland to seek assisted suicide.
