Introductory Offer: “Mindfulness for You”
The Greek philosopher Epicurus once said, in essence, “It is not circumstances that make life difficult for us, but the way we react to them.” When the stress and demands of everyday life become too much, mindfulness exercises can help us “wind down.”
Mindfulness means being in the here and now—consciously perceiving the moment without judgment. This can be learned, says MBSR instructor Irmgard Hepper.
Together with the Oberes Enztal Senior Citizens’ Council, she offers introductory sessions that can also be booked individually. In a small group, participants learn and practice how to cultivate greater serenity.
The course is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, profession, or worldview. The exercises are done while sitting or lying down.
