Edible & Medicinal Wild Plants in Fall
Every season has its own character—in fall, the days grow shorter and the plants retreat into the earth. Even as nature’s vitality slowly wanes, we can still discover many wild treasures. Fall is the season of abundance and harvest. Together, we’ll seek out edible and medicinal fall herbs, as well as roots, seeds, and fruits; preserve traditional knowledge; and learn how to use and incorporate wild plants into our daily lives. The herb walk is neither long nor strenuous, but rather a relaxed stroll. We’ll wrap up the outing with a herbal drink and a wild snack.
