After-Work Mushroom Hikes with Joachim Erk

With its extensive forests and meadows, Bad Wildbad and the surrounding area offer a unique variety of mushrooms.
Guests can discover and taste the fascinating world of mushrooms on a guided hike with certified mushroom expert Joachim Erk.

The hike begins at 4:00 p.m. at the entrance to Meistern.

The hike costs €20.00 (€18.00 with a guest card) and lasts approximately 2 hours.
Children ages 6–14 pay €10.00.

During the hike, guests will learn to identify and distinguish the region’s most important edible mushrooms from their potentially poisonous lookalikes. They’ll also learn more about the interconnections in nature, the different life forms, and the variety of ways mushrooms are used.
