Wellness hotel in Bad Wildbad – with direct access to the Palais Thermal
Your wellness break begins where others still have to plan: At Mokni’s, you stay in the heart of Bad Wildbad, enjoy admission to two thermal spas already included and reach the historic “Palais Thermal” directly in your bathrobe from the “Badhotel” building.
One hotel. Two buildings. More freedom for your wellness stay.
Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA is not a conventional wellness hotel where your entire stay takes place in just one building. Our hotel consists of two buildings facing each other directly on the Kurplatz: the “Badhotel” and the “Rossini”. Both belong to Mokni’s, both include the same hotel benefits – they mainly differ in location and focus.
In the “Badhotel”, the focus is on direct thermal spa access: From here, you can comfortably reach the historic “Palais Thermal” directly in your bathrobe. In the “Rossini”, you will find the reception, check-in and our rich sparkling wine breakfast buffet. The distance between the two buildings is only around 40 metres across the Kurplatz.
For us, wellness means freedom rather than a fixed programme. You decide how your day should feel: sparkling wine breakfast in the morning, followed by thermal water or sauna, a walk through the Kurpark, an excursion to the Sommerberg or dinner in one of the nearby restaurants.
Bad Wildbad becomes your extended wellness area: Kurpark, Sommerbergbahn, cafés, restaurants, nature, S-Bahn and thermal spas are only a few steps away. Many experiences can be reached comfortably on foot.
Whether as a couple, travelling alone or with friends: Mokni’s combines thermal spa wellness, a central location and flexible holiday planning into a break that does not feel like a programme – but like your own rhythm.

Frequently asked questions about our hotel complex
Answers about our two buildings “Rossini” and “Badhotel”, direct thermal spa access, check-in, breakfast, room features and the services included with your stay.
Is Mokni’s one hotel, or are the “Rossini” and “Badhotel” two separate hotels?
Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA is one hotel consisting of the two buildings “Rossini” and “Badhotel”, which face each other directly on the Kurplatz.
Both buildings are part of the same hotel operation and are only around 40 metres apart. The name “Badhotel” is a historic building name and does not refer to a separate hotel.
What is the difference between the “Rossini” and the “Badhotel”?
The “Rossini” houses reception, check-in, check-out and the generous sparkling wine breakfast buffet for guests of both buildings. It is also the more value-conscious accommodation option within our hotel complex.
The “Badhotel” offers direct access to the historic “Palais Thermal” in your bathrobe. It also houses our fitness studio, and the rooms have genuine Bad Wildbad thermal water in their bathrooms.
The two buildings therefore mainly differ in location, atmosphere, room features and focus.
Which building has direct access to the “Palais Thermal”?
Direct access to the “Palais Thermal” in your bathrobe is available exclusively from the “Badhotel”.
Guests staying in the “Rossini” cross the Kurplatz and reach the “Badhotel” and the thermal spa entrance after around 40 metres. Crossing the Kurplatz in your bathrobe is perfectly normal in Bad Wildbad.
Where do check-in, check-out and breakfast take place?
Reception, check-in and check-out for all hotel guests are located in the “Rossini” – regardless of whether the booked room is in the “Rossini” or the “Badhotel”.
The generous sparkling wine breakfast buffet is also served in the “Rossini”. In fine weather, breakfast can additionally be enjoyed on the Enz terrace.
Guests staying in the “Badhotel” cross the approximately 40-metre Kurplatz for check-in, check-out and breakfast.
Are the thermal spa and hotel benefits the same for guests of both buildings?
Yes. The regular included services are available equally to guests of the “Rossini” and the “Badhotel”.
These include the sparkling wine breakfast buffet, admission to the “Palais Thermal”, admission to the “Vital Therme” around a two-minute walk away and use of our fitness studio.
The main difference is that only the “Badhotel” is directly connected to the “Palais Thermal”.
The services and conditions stated in your booking confirmation are always binding.
Which building suits me better, and can I choose it when booking?
The “Badhotel” is particularly suitable if direct access to the “Palais Thermal” in your bathrobe, thermal water in your private bathroom and additional room comfort are important to you.
The “Rossini” is the more value-conscious alternative and is a good choice if you prefer reception, check-in, check-out and breakfast in the same building as your room.
When booking, you select a room category that is clearly assigned to either the “Rossini” or the “Badhotel”. This also determines which building you stay in, subject to displayed availability.
Are all rooms the same, and do all rooms in the “Badhotel” have a balcony?
No. Mokni’s rooms are individually designed and differ according to building, category, size, features and location.
Many rooms in the “Badhotel” have a balcony, but not all. Both “Comfort” double-room options have a balcony, while the Junior Suite and Suite do not. The “Comfort” single rooms are available in versions with and without a balcony.
Every bathroom in the “Badhotel” is supplied with genuine Bad Wildbad thermal water. This special feature is not available in the “Rossini”.
The room photos shown on the room pages are sample images. The room actually allocated may differ in furnishings, colour scheme and individual details.
Do the rooms have air conditioning or ceiling fans?
No. The rooms in both the “Rossini” and the “Badhotel” do not have air conditioning.
In the “Badhotel”, however, every room in the “Comfort” category has a ceiling fan. The “Comfort” double rooms with shower facing the woodland or park side are generally noticeably cooler in summer because of their location.
Some rooms in the “Rossini” also have a ceiling fan. As this does not apply to every room there, a ceiling fan cannot be guaranteed for every Rossini room.
Does the hotel have a restaurant or offer half board?
Mokni’s does not normally offer traditional half board and does not have its own traditional hotel restaurant or hotel bar.
The generous sparkling wine breakfast buffet is served in the “Rossini”. For lunch and dinner, guests can use the bistro in the “Palais Thermal” as well as numerous restaurants, cafés and bars around the Kurplatz and in the town centre.
Many of these restaurants are only a few steps from the hotel and can easily be reached on foot.
Is Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA an adults-only hotel?
Yes. Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA is an adults-only hotel for guests aged 16 and over.
The hotel is designed for guests seeking relaxation, couples, solo travellers and friends who want to combine wellness, peace and a flexible break in Bad Wildbad.
How central is the hotel, and what can I reach on foot?
Mokni’s Palais Hotel & SPA is located directly on the Kurplatz in the centre of Bad Wildbad. The “Palais Thermal”, Kurpark, the Enz river, restaurants, cafés and the Sommerbergbahn are all nearby.
The “Bad Wildbad – Uhlandplatz” S-Bahn stop is also only a few steps away, making arrival without a car easy.
On the Sommerberg, attractions include the Black Forest Treetop Walk, the WILDLINE suspension bridge and numerous walking and hiking trails.
